The Dordogne

Some local information

Our studio apartments are situated in the Dordogne region of France. The Dordogne, or The Périgord as it is known locally is in South West France in the Aquitaine region.

The Dordogne has a temperate climate, though summers are hot and dry. We are within a short drive of the caves of Lascaux and Les Eyzies, Sarlat and Bergerac. St. Emilion and the beautiful vineyards of Bordeaux are within easy reach for those with a taste for wine!!

Nearer to hand are the Châteaux of the Pecharmant region where wine tasting is a must.
